A recliner chair sold at Aldi, and popular with breastfeeding mums, has been recalled due to risks of 'serious injury' it poses for users.

The SOHL FURNITURE chair has been declared unsafe by the Product Safety Australia over fears it may be unstable and could tip over during use.

The PSA also noted should it tip over, 'there is a risk of serious injury to the chair's occupant and bystanders'. They also noted it posed a damage risk to property.

The chair was sold at Aldi stores nationally between January 20-February 22 this year.

Anyone who has purchased the chair has been advised to return the product to any Aldi store for a full refund.

Consumers looking for more information on the product should visit here or contact the Aldi recall helpline on 1800 362 778 (during business hours).
