Iggy Azalea has no fears working it in front of millions as a rapper, but even she felt a little self conscious reading to her son.

The singer answered a series of questions from fans on Twitter this week, revealing it took her a while to warm up to reading out loud to Onyx, now nine months.

"It seems silly but when I first had my son I felt embarrassed to read books aloud and put on silly voices etc. but now I get so into it and I don't even care," the 30-year-old tweeted.

In reply to a fan referencing an old video of her doing silly voices, she shared she has as much fun reading as Onyx does listening.

"I have a dog book he loves called 'doggies' and it's literally just barking noises. I do ten specific dog barks," she said. "Page one when I open it I can see him already trying not to laugh cause he knows I'm about to bark."

Azalea also revealed she goes a step further, singing to Onyx.

"I sing (completely off key) to onyx and he actually dances now... it makes my heart explode with love," she said.

It's not the only revelation Azalea has shared on her adjustment to motherhood. On a recent appearance on Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump she revealed she chose to keep her pregnancy a secret and her fears on how it would change her body.

"I thought I'd have to get lots of plastic surgery, but then I didn't have to get any. I didn't get a stomach that I'd need to hide, and then with COVID, I was just like, ;I'll just keep it a secret. I don't have to go outside'," she shared.

Adding that Onyx, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti, was a planned baby and the adjustment to working around his routine had been easier than she'd expected.

"He was a planned baby. I just wondered if I would want to have more than one child, so I thought that maybe I should figure that out before I'm as old as dust," she said.
