Hilaria Baldwin has opened up about a terrifying health scare with her youngest son Eduardo over the weekend.

The 37-year-old shared of her holding eight-month-old Edu in a doctor's office to Instagram, explaining he suffered an allergic reaction, but they're not sure why yet.

"We had a scary experience where Edu had an allergic reaction," she wrote alongside the image. "I don't know to what yet, but it was one of those horrible moments a parent dreads."

Explaining none of her other children have allergies, the mum-of-six acknowledged you can 'never prepare for everything' as a parent, no matter how many children you have.

"This was after he was better, the vomit on my clothes had dried, and my friend sent a pic to Alec (who is away working) to let him know it was going to be ok," she continued.

"I'm grateful to you, doctors and nurses and other healthcare professionals. I won't mention your names here, but you know who you are, and I hope how much my heart is connected to your care and kindness."

"I was told that expediency in this situation is key..don't wait to see if it gets better. If you find yourself in this situation—just go and reach for help," she said. "I love you my baby boy. Mama loves you so."

Baldwin later updated fans to let them know that Edu was doing much better, sharing a sweet clip of the baby playing with his younger sister, Lucia.

"Better today," the doting mum wrote. "Thank you for the sweet wishes and wisdom from your own experiences you have shared with me."

Baldwin shares Edu, as well as three-month-old Lucía, Romeo, two-and-a-half, Leonardo, four, Rafael Thomas, five and Carmen, seven, with her husband Alec Baldwin.

The yoga instructor gave birth to Edu in September 2020, with Lucia reportedly born via a surrogate in March 2021. The busy mum often shares snippets of her hectic life to social media, documenting raising two newborns at the same time.

"Having two small babies is so fun and cute. there are also challenges," she posted on Instagram earlier in the year. "Like Lucia just had an explosion and I have Eduardo rolling around...so I'm just gonna lay here, covered in poop, entertaining Edu...until I get a genius idea how to get out of this 💩 situation."
