I wish the Olympics would hurry up and start...

... Because the quicker it starts, the sooner it will all be over!

I'm sick to death of hearing about it

It only happens every 4yrs. It's quite easy to avoid as well IMO.

I'll be watching. I like to see the lesser publicised sports for a change.

I missed most of the Sydney Olympics due to crap coverage in HK. Ditto for Beijing.

The BBC is streaming mutliple channels in HD, and given what I have seen of their sports/Jubilee coverage, I think they will do a great job :)

The only thing that interests me is the Equestrian events. Or maybe the gymnastics. Mostly I CBF.

DP is hanging out for the boxing.

We only have freeview though, so I doubt we'll get much coverage of the events we're interested in.

I like to watch the finals of the sports, but the heats are a bit of a snooze for me

Seeing it live and soaking up the atmosphere would be amazing. Have a great time!

I can't wait. I'm lost now that the Tour de France has finished. ;)

I'm looking forward to the cycling, equestrian, swimming, gymnastics, rowing, and volleyball.

Oooh I Love the Olympics! I just have to keep my late night routine working this week between the end of the Tour De France and the stary of the Olympics. We're having a 'full English' family breakfast 6am Saturday morning for the opening ceremony :)

I don't mind the olympics I just hate how we usually only get great coverage of sports Australia is good at.

I love watching gymnastics and synchronised swimming but it's hard to catch and doesn't get much air time.

I was in the uk for the Commonwealth games once and there was plenty of coverage of all sorts of things each of the UK teams were pretty rubbish at. And then a quick "oh, and Australia and Canada just won about 50 million gold medals but yay for our gallant 6th placed English competitor.

i thought Sydney was going to be rubbish, it was an outstanding couple of weeks working with the US team. I'm not currently enthused about London, but will probably watch bits and pieces.

I don't really care for them but my 7yo is very excited. :)

I wish that one of the channels was showing the pre Olympics Hyde Park concert though - that would be excellent. :)
