Hi starletta

I saw your pictures of Harry the other day and he was beautiful. He reminded me of my own little harry when he was born. He was a beautiful boy.

Hello,

This is difficult for me and my first post for quite some time. I used to be around on these boards in 2006 - 2008 when I needed help the most.

I have 2 beautiful healthy children. I also have 2 buried children.

Eliza is 8 and perfectly healthy (Born 2003)

Sophia was born at 38 weeks in 2006 (full gestation) but was technially stillborn. They revived her and she was on a ventilator for 4 days whilst they ran tests. It was hopeless and she died in our arms on the 4th day.

Archer was born in 2008 via IUI, a perfectly healthy boy.

Then I miscarried Harley at 16 weeks in 2009.

I need to chat for a number of reasons....... I am now 44 and pregnant again (8 weeks). I am considered 'high risk' and am very scared. I truly thought I could have no more children and when I missed my period I thought was starting Menopause!!

Posting on this forum a few years ago helped me so much emotionally I'm hoping I can again use 'strangers' ears to lean on.

Funny thing is I wasn't sure which topic to post under..... older mums, pregnancy after miscarriage, due in October or Pregnancy after Neonatal loss!! LOL

We are not telling ANYONE about the pregnancy until we know that things are ok. So getting this off my chest for now will relieve some of the pressure. In 4 weeks I will be having a CVS so that milestone will be a big day for us.

Thanks for reading and I will be in touch.

Nicola

Hi ladies,

I have 'visited' this forum twice, after losing our son, Levi, at 26wks, we have had 2 beautiful little boys. And a precious daughter, our first born.

Our desires to have another child outweighed our fears and I am just 5 weeks, or so now....!

I found this little group PRICELESS, esp with our 1st preg after losing Levi.

Nicola.... HI!! I certainly hope your little blessing is a blessing to take home and hold...hoping the time flies for you xxx

Today I am finding it hard to breathe, I am 7 weeks and SO fearful of what we have to face again, seriously I thought it was going to be different, but I spose I have to accept that this is what pregnancy is like for me after losing Levi.

Every time I go to the toilet I imagine having to tell DH things have gone pear shape. My mind is in overdrive.

I am SO sick, getting Zofran to help

I am SO tired

I am facing all my Levi emotions again

Hi ladies. I was lurking here this morning to see if this group was still active. I was here a few years ago with my first rainbow baby in 2010.

I'm thrilled to say that I am pregnant again, with a little one due in March 2013. I had a blood test this morning to confirm my suspicions. Funny thing is I was actually taking Neriah into see the dr for a suspected case of Shingles. Dr said if it was shingles that she will be fine to take around other people, unless they were pregnant! So I had no choice but to say "um, I think I might be pregnant" The lovely dr ordered me a blood test right then, being only 4 days over my AF date, and results were back this afternoon. It's all happened really quickly. I have PCOS, and falling pregnant has been a bit tricky for us, especially after losing Oliver to Potter's in 2006.

Anyway, it's nice to see some familiar names here with new pregnancies too. Trust that you are all doing really well.

Yippee!
