GOLD!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic christmas and the kiddies all had lots fun playing with their presents. Our trampoline is a big hit, Carter loves it. I'm a Lego addict and have been making lots of trucks and bionicles. DH has gone to the sales, I swear he is a woman!!!

SILVER!!! :D

We had a fantastic Christmas Day, best one i've had in a while I think. :) It was a lovely day spent with family. The kids loved their presents, there weren't any complaints or fights, it was nice. It was also great to see all the cousins together. Hope everyone else had a fantastic day.

Bronze :D

We had a good Christmas too, very quiet one this year. Girls loved what they got.

Off to bed now.

Declan is all better so hoping he stays well for a while now. This dam weather keeps getting warm and then hot then cool again so no wonder why these bugs are still hanging around. We had some nice rain here today, not too much which is nice.

Nite

Hi all

We had a fabulous Christmas here too. Spent Christmas day with my family, boxing day with friends and from Sunday we have had the IL's staying with us. They went home today but the kids have had such a good time. They get up each day and play happily with their new toys  The swingset is great even though Hannah fell off and hurt her arm today.

Bit nervous about the new year coming up with school runs daily :fear: Joel in preschool and adding a new baby to the mix come April! Ahhh my carefree days are over lol. I'm taking things so easy atm and am really in school holiday mode.

Glad to hear you all had a lovely Christmas too :)

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. I hope that 2010 brings you and your family all that your dream for. Can't wait to hear about the arrival of babies that will be joining our group during the year. I wonder if there will be anymore?

Some good friends from Sydney are in Adelaide for christmas so we're catching up with them for dinner at a friend's house. All the kids get along really well and have so much fun whenever we catch up, it's as if they haven't been away at all. I'm just hoping that Jarvis goes to sleep there, he is fantastic at home but when out he hates the portacot.

Happy New Year!!!!

Hope everyone has a great 2010!!!! I have so many things I have planned to change next yr. I have a positive feeling about next year. I think too we have had such a bad yr (excluding having Dec of course). I want to put all Declans sickness behind me, all our money worries we had this yr (Chris's brother is helping us out to get out our debts) ,we have a $25000 personal loan which will be payed off, atm it has huge interest fees so all we are doing is paying off the interest every month and not the loan. :(. We just have to pay his brother a monthly amount that he has set up to be direct debit payed to him so we don't have to worry about it. Also we opened another bank account where our family allowance goes in just for that. So we live off of Chris's wage each week instead and the other ones goes untouched so we can save some money.

Well better get going, we are off to see some fire-works at the beach tonight. They also have rides there too and patting farm. Got girls ready, just have to get me and Declan showered and ready and then prepared dinner. Chris finishes work at 6.30pm so he we will go then. :)

I will take some pics, I promise I will get in here more often. Willow is off to daycare 2 days a week next week. OMG my girls are growing up so fast. Making the most of Declan as he is our last. I feel good too that he is the last and I can focus on doing stuff I haven't done since having Skye like scrapbooking etc.

Take Care everyone and thanks for a great year!!!!

Tracy :)

Popping in to say hi! :) A great start to 2010 so far, i'm positive this will be a better year for everyone!

Tracy, what a relief it must be to have your finances sorted. We are struggling here, but waiting on our tax (for the past 3 yrs!!) to come in, then we should be right for a little bit.

We are going to Mildura for a week next week. So excited as I booked these cabins (with friends) around 6 mths ago. Looking forward to the break. :)

I'm off to do some sandal shopping for Michael with my MIL this afternoon, then off to visit mum. We had mum here over Christmas and gosh, she's deterioted a fair bit. :(

Hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy the holidays!

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas & New Year :D

Thought I'd better pop in as I haven't posted for ages! Just a quick one though - we are in the middle of painting our hallway, bathroom, toilet, ensuite, family room & kitchen :p Really sick of it already and we're only 1/3rd way done!

Sorry I haven't been in as I promised. Willow has broken her arm and I just haven't had any-time to get on the computer in between catching up with housework etc.

Declan is great!!! Skye is good, Willow is feeling a bit sorry for herself. :( And Chris is good, on holidays in 2 weeks. :)

Back off to hospital today, 30min drive just to get there to see a specialist. Will let you know how we get on. Have to take all 3 kids and most probably a 2 hour wait so its going to hopefully be a ok day. I have bribed Skye to be good, going to macca's to get a ice-cream then a play. Hope it works.

Goodness - so long since anyone posted! Hopefully you're all having a blast or away on holidays or something :)

We are home from Bali and had such an amazing time. I think I am still in that 'dream mode' you get in when on a fabulous holiday :)

I really should get to bed!

Hello! We've just come home from our holiday to Mildura. Had a fantastic time away, arrived home at around 6.30pm last night. We did heaps! A good mixture of relaxation and sight seeing. I will share some pics on facebook later. I think the camera was left in the car and DH has taken it to work today.

Kristy, great to hear you had a fabulous holiday! I'm off to see some of your pics on facebook now. :)

Linda, we painted our house last year and I still hate the sight of a paint brush, so i'll say 'pass' for now on helping you out this time.

Tracy, how is Willow going with her cast?

I have a busy week picking up school uniform and books. Then I have to come back and contact and label them all. Oh what fun! I'm excited about picking up Mike's high school uniform though and seeing him in it. We picked up a whole heap of school stuff while we were away to save us from going out this week and rushing around. So, I have most things I need. Just need to get some sneakers for Camo and Will, that's about it I think.

Hoping everyone is enjoying their holidays. :) I must get organised with this Sydney Meet Up soon too! :o

Hey everyone

I bumped into Kristy today in Aldi. What a gorgeous little boy Owen is :wub: Was good to see you :) Sophie and Rose looked so cute with their Bali braids too!

Joel had his first day at preschool today. He had such a great time and when I picked him up he said "I had a wonderful day at preschool and I'm so happy you came to pick me up" He will go Mondays and Tuesdays.

Have just finished baking a cake for Tobias' 2nd birthday tomorrow. Still have to decorate (it's a crocodile cake) but I'm so tired might have to do it tomorrow. We are going to a magic show at the library in the morning and then in the afternoon a friend and her two littlies are coming over for birthday cake and a play. It will be fairly low key. Might go out for dinner but not sure.

He is getting a trampoline for his bday. He is such a jumper and I know trampolines are really only 'christmasy' presents but I don't want to wait a whole year to get one. I can't beieve he is two already!

Karen Sounds like you had a lovely time away - just enough relaxation before the busyness starts again, hey? Oh crap I haven't even given the meet up a thought :o

Linda I'll happily come and help you paint :) It is my trade and I did it for 12 years. I'd love to paint my house again, just can't manage it around the kids atm.

Tracy How is Willow now? What happened to her, poor thing.

Ok I'm off to look at my cake and decide if I want to tackle it now or just go to bed.

I think I may have to back out of the Sydney Meet Up. :( We are having major financial troubles at the moment and lots of stress with our business. I'm sorry to have to do this to everyone. Is there anyone in Sydney who'd like to take on the organisation of it?

Nat, happy 2nd birthday to Tobias! Hard to believe he's 2 already!! How wonderful bumping into Kristy at the supermarket. Caitie has her orientation day at 3 yr old kinder next Friday. It's very exciting.

Karen Sorry to hear about the financial/business stresses you're going through. It never ends does it :( TBH the sydney meet is probably a bit of a stretch for me to think about atm too. We just seem to have so much on at the moment and in the coming months including a couple of wedding invites I wasn't expecting (one away) and IL's planning and unexpected stay. My quiet start to the year is already full of party invites and busy weekends and then of course a new baby! Maybe we should realistcally put it off for now? Anyone else have any thoughts?

Tobias had a great bday. Magic show was lots of fun and it was a nice relaxing day with a few friends over in the afternoon. Joel decided he didn't want to go back to preschool on the 2nd day. He didn't cry or anything, just simply stated all morning he just wanted to stay home with Mummy and Daddy. He was fine when he got there though and even made a little friend who he apparently called "the orange boy" all day because he was dressed in orange

Nat, so glad it was a great day yesterday for Tobias's special day. I think you're right about maybe postponing the meet up for now. It might be best if we made it for July/August perhaps? Then we will be able to meet your little one. ;) Aww, Joel sounds so cute wanting to stay home with Mummy and Daddy.

Just saying hi, Sorry haven't been around much, been so busy with the girls. Can't wait for next week when Skye goes to school. I am counting down the day. I want my quiet time back, with Declan and Willow I have those days everyday. Its Skye that throws everything out. ;)

Got to go on Thursday to get Willow's cast off. She can't wait, she has been such a brave girl.

OMG Skye's screaming is really getting to me, time to throw a few bribes at her I think. I will be back next week. I am getting excited about having just Willow and Dec home in the day, is that a bad thing. LOL>

Not a bad thing at all Tracy. I am so looking forward to 1st Feb when the boys go back to school. It will be just Caitie and I then. :) She's off to 3 yr old kinder as well, so one day per week for 2.5hrs, I will have the house to myself. I am so excited!! :D

Hi girls

Karen - Glad to you had such a great time away. Sorry to hear you are having financial problems with the business still. We're not going to be able to make Sydney in Feb so a reschedule sounds like a great idea.

Tracy - I bet Willow is looking forward to having her cast off, it's gone so quickly. Nothing wrong with looking forward to Skye going back to school. It's nice to get back into a routine and have some time to yourself.

Nat - How far along are you now? How are you feeling? Happy birthday to Tobias, sounds like he had a lovely day celebrating.

Kristy - Lovely photos on FB. Already planning your next trip ;) ?

Linda - How's the painting coming along?

Hi to everyone else

Been busy here with the boys. Deakin goes back to school next Wednesday which he is looking forward to. I really thought that the holidays would go so slowly but the 6 weeks has flown by. I think that Carter will miss him as they have been playing together so well.

Jarvis is doing well. He starts 1 day a week childcare next week. With Deakin at school that means I will just have Carter at home on Thursdays which I am really looking forward to. We have never had a day together where we have been off on fun 4yo adventures and I've so much planned. He is at such a great age and so much fun atm. Such a cheeky character but boy does he have attitude!!

Tina, count me in on a meet up in April. :) The holidays have gone fairly fast here also. We've been so busy, so that helps. Can't believe they only have a week to go. It will be lovely for you to have a free day with just Carter. :)

We've been busy sorting and decluttering today. DH made a new shelf for our walk in robe and it looks fantastic. I've been out in our studio trying to sort out documents etc. It's a mess in there! Heaps of baby stuff/old clothes etc that we can sell on ebay or we could have a garage sale. DH wants to do a 'my life on the lawn' type thing, lol. I'm just a little worried that we'll put everything out on the lawn, then lose motivation!!

Tuesday we are off to help out at a Bunnings BBQ fundraiser for cubs from 10am-12pm, then having a picnic with Andrew's family. What are everyone else's plans for Australia Day?
