It is only 2 weeks, go, enjoy, i'm sure you'd regret it if you don't. FWIW i would go (if you hadn't figured that out already!)

Congratulations Donna!

I thought I had better come in a actually post rather than just browse:)

All about your DIN child

What things does your near 4 year old enjoying?

Mima loves wearing skirts, being a princess, taking pictures with her camera and swimming lessons.

Does your near 4 year old go to daycare/preschool? If so, how often?

Both girls go four days a week. Up unitl this year they were both 5 days - but we are slowly reducing my days at work as we get on top of the mortgage. They will be 3 days next year.

Tell us something funny/delightful about your near 4 year old.

Mima adores her little sister and calls her 'my little piggy' they play so well together.

What does your near 4 year old like to wear?

Skirts, skirts, skirts!

Does he/she have many friends, imaginary included.

Mima has a close group of little girlfriends at CC. Unfortunatley they are all going to school next year so we have been encouraging her to make friends with others kids - I am not lo0oking forward to the metdonw when she realises she isnt going to big school with her friends!

Have you decided which school he/she is going to? If so, which one and tell us how you made that decision. If not, tell us what things you are looking for in a school.

Yep, the one around the corner:) Maybe its the same school as Jane is sending Lily and Lucy?

All about you?

Got anything exciting to tell?

Yep :D

Are you working? IF so, doing what and how often?

New job doing OHs 4 days a week - nice and boring :)

Holiday plans?

Nope- just got back from 8 days in Fiki.

Bought anything wonderful lately?

Yummy yarn for knitting.

Have you seen a great movie or read a great book lately. If so, what?

I read The Slap - it was pretty good.

What celebrities have you met or seen?

none

Are you planning any more children?

Yep.... here is my exciting news... I am 7 weeks pregnant with #3 - Yay!

How are your other children going?

Hattie is going great. Still no interest in the toilet whatsoever which is funny consider how early Mima TT'd. She isw a little tomboy - all her friends are boiys and she likes cars and dinosaurs!

Who do you wonder about/miss alot, from our original DIN05 mums?

I wonder about Donna and Cecile and Kirsty. I sometimes chat with Lauren and Joy is in a knitting group I am in :)

Do you have any fond/hilarious memories about DIN05 that you are willing to share?

Everyone giving me advice on how conceive #2 excpet I was alreayd pregnant!

What song can't you get out of your head?

None

What is your favourite three songs on your ipod/or in your collection?

I never seem to listen to music - whatevr is on is fine with me.

Hope everyone is well!

Congratulations Anna!

Here's hoping for an uneventful 8 months or there abouts.

Anne there is certainly something in the water, a few in here, my other DIG has several babies arriving between now and December and at swimming lessons the other day there were newborns everywhere, almost enough to make one clucky.....but I aint drinking.... ;)

Congrats Anna. May the next 7 months or so go smoothly for you.

I'm with you Susan, love to cluck but even the thought of having another baby myself sends shivers through me. Is that terrible?

Susan and Caz, I don't think it is terrible, just a sign you know you are 'done'.

There were lots of lovely pregnant bellies and newborns everywhere at Floriade today - must be Spring! I was reminiscing how at last year's Floriade I was hugely pregnant with Lauren and hobbling around at a snails pace due to all the fluid retention (shudder). There were lots of newborns and bellies yesterday too, but I was at a Baby and Kids market, so that was to be expected ;)

I have to say, for anyone wanting to get rid of stuff the kids have outgrown, B&K markets are great. I made close to $600 yesterday. Still managed to buy a few things though .

Things are going well with my little business venture - my friend and I will be at Mathilda's Market in November and we are very excited

Emma

I would just like to say a huge thank you for noting that this is baby number 4. Little recognitions of Brooklyn like that mean the absolute world to me.

Thanks again Emma.

My sister is moveing to melbourne on 31st Oct, filled with drama and will be living with us for almost 3 weeks :omg:

My mum SI so bad she is being flown to a hosp in sydney cos she is that bad our hosp dont have those facilitys here to treat her injoureys and the first bed com available today and they are worryed about it and its caused perminate damage.

Leo was sitting and i walked past him yesterday morn and he says "good morning mum". It made my day :) He never did that befor

So all in all we are ok, life is good.

We have our health our loved ones and i belive life is what YOU make it.

Sure somethings happen beyond our control but altermatly we control the outcome with how we choose to deal with it.

My 1st vegie patch was completed just befor a severe storm hit on monday

I was so proud of my moo poo garden  Well part mo poo part soil

Anyone involve there children in gardening?

I wanted to get the boys to have there own lil vegie patch outside of my fenced off one

But wanted to ask you ladies if you had tryed doing things like that? :)

Thanks Mel.

Very nervous household here with Parra playing Fri and DH being ALL broncos and them playing on Sat.

To be honest (and I am well aware of how pathetic this sounds), I am so excited and nervous as well. I have been a Parra fan since birth.....(my mum actually went into labour at one of thier games). I can clearly remember thier 80's grand final wins but I was not an adult then. That and Hayden is obsessed with them and we are good friends with a couple of players.

Oh.......Please God help them to win....If not for me, do it for Hayden.

Well I have booked, so I guess I am going! 4 nights LA, 3 nights Vegas and 4 nights New York City! Woo Hooo!!

I feel sick at the thought of leaving the kids, but I will worry about that closer to the time I leave. Focusing on the fact that this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

I hope everyone is well.

Oliver is teething something chronic. He is driving me to the brink. I wish the bloody tooth would just cut through so we could both get some peace.

Anne - excellent work at the market! Please let me know when you are ready to post the bag. I shall transfer funds when I have your details. I'm sorry I have been slack - been busy going crazy. :omg2:

Taking Lily to the Royal Show tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it - haven't been since I was a kid!

Have a good weekend. GO SAINTERS!

Guest Imokoe

Sarah- I have two big pots with some lettuce cherry tomatoes and snow peas in them. We have a little watering can and Imogen likes to help me water. She has really enjoyed watchign them grow produce flowers and now little tomatoes are appearing. The tomatoes have been the best, even koen has stopped trying to uproot them now he sees what its growing!

Another round of illness here, this time poor Koen has pneumonia :( we were in emergency on wednesday night but we got to take him home, he was almost admitted. I've never seen any of my kids so sick :( felt so bad for him. Its a viral pneumonia so no antibiotics. I've had him checked every day at the docs since, as he hasnt been eating and very lethargic. Diagnosed with an ear infection on friday and got antibiotics and seemed so much better this morning thank goodness! Back to eating some food again.

Thats about all here.

Congrats Donna and Anna! Hope you both have a smooth pg!

Sorry to be MIA so long. Been quite distracted LOL

Just popping in to say that eviction day is today. Going in at 3.30 to get the gel and if nothing happens overnight the drip goes in Tuesday morning. I'm sad its not happening on its own but at the same time relieved and excited that it is happening. I'm sh*t scared too LOL. Hopefully the gel will get things moving tonight and all will be ok. Please wish me luck!

Induction was done because of bubbas size  and the fact I havent slept properly for weeks becaue of painful pre-labour (that hasnt done much cervix-wise grrr). I don't really think they are "proper" reasons for induction (I didnt ask for induction - was told it was happening on Friday by OB) but wasn't really sure wether to argue or not. Plus I was hoping to have bub before the school holidays.

That sounds so weak doesn't it! Truth is I don't know how I feel about it really. I just hope everything goes ok.

blah! Anyway, will get DH to post once something happens.

love to all

Sal

Good luck Sal :D

Donna - I have been thinking about you since Friday night when ever there is any footy on. I bet you are stoked that Hayne is playing. Congrats on the pregnancy

Anna - Number 3 for you too! Are you hoping for a :babyboy: ? After 2 girls I think it would be strange to have a boy.

Tameika - I hope your little man is recovering.

Kylie - You lucky devil! Don't let the guilt ruin the plans, the kids will be fine without you and the time out will bring much appreciation

Probably a bit late but here is the quiz

All about your DIN child

What things does your near 4 year old enjoying?

Going to friends houses. Anything with her Dad. Dressing up in all her clothes.

Does your near 4 year old go to daycare/preschool? If so, how often? She goes to preschool 2days a week

Tell us something funny/delightful about your near 4 year old.

She says Hi to Poppy every time she sees the stars.

What does your near 4 year old like to wear?

Everything I don’t like! Skirts or tights.

Does he/she have many friends, imaginary included.

She is still very quiet and prefers her own company. She has a few close friends. Heaps of imaginary friends with different names everyday

Have you decided which school he/she is going to? If so, which one and tell us how you made that decision. If not, tell us what things you are looking for in a school.

A local public school. We have some pretty average schools here but I’m lucky that my closest one is ok. I want her to stay local for primary school so she is close to friends etc. She will go private for high school which is a fair distance away.

All about you?

Got anything exciting to tell?

Not really.

Are you working? IF so, doing what and how often?

Not yet but have started looking. Im waiting to here back from an interview I went to last week and Im going to be bummed if I don’t get it.

Holiday plans?

NO! DH is working away and we are so up in the air about where he is going to be that it’s been too hard to make plans.

Bought anything wonderful lately?

I brought Hayley Christmas present day. Just a dinky bike with a trailer. Boring hey!?

Have you seen a great movie or read a great book lately. If so, what?

I just got on the twilight wagon and I’m on to book 2

What celebrities have you met or seen?

no-one

Are you planning any more children?

Nope

How are your other children going?

Hayley is great. She is so different then Lily. Very lively and loves to play. She hasn’t got any hair just like Lily.

Who do you wonder about/miss alot, from our original DIN05 mums?

The old Sydney Mums, Kylie, Fiona etc

Do you have any fond/hilarious memories about DIN05 that you are willing to share?

Unfortunately all the sad ones come to mind. I will always remember Jodes defending me when I went back to work and put Lil into care 5 days and I received a few opinions about it.

What song can't you get out of your head?

I love Guy Sebastian’s new one

What is your favourite three songs on your ipod/or in your collection?

Anything Kasey or whatever top 40 Dan has put on it
