Just thought I'd share- I found this tutorial a few days ago on how to turn an old button up shirt into a pretty dress! So easy to do and looks so cute! button shirt to toddler dress

Here's one of my versions- though it was a (size 16) women's shirt so the biggest size dress I could make was about a size 0-1 and I had to use the collar for the bodice as there wasn't one in the back of the shirt- though it turned out to be the perfect shape actually. P3190408.jpg

This is a great tutorial for a quilt made from 7 men's dress/business shirts. I have been working up to doing one of these for years and having found this one, may just try it.

Here is a simpler alternative with a cleaner look:

Ok will try to make a link here but if it doesn't work just copy n paste. Really cute repurposing tutorials that could just as easily work on new fabric. Sorry- all girls patterns mostly.

Sorry everyone! Its all I can say because you will need at least an hour of uninterupted time for this one. There is over 300 tutorials listed under Children. I think I may have redeemed myself with all those who have boys. Lots of nice boy things too.

This is what I can get done when I have the flu and no kids.
