Hi,

After the thread about the breadmakers i got mine out of the cupboard and started making some (not all the time) i have perfected the fruit buns and they are yummy.

I was wondering i have looked through my book with thte breadmaker and cannot find a foccacia receipe. Does anyone have one please we are having roast chook tonight and since i brought 2 chooks i thought we would have leftover tomorrow night in the sandwich press but i havent any foccacia in the freezer so thought id make some but cant find a receipe so if anyone could help would be much appreciated

TIA Kerry

KristyMum-

Might be too late (maybe next time?) but I have a herb foaccacia one here:

2.5tsp Tandaco dry yeast (it's a something grams sachet so so long as it's a similar size is ok)

480g (3 cups) plain flour

2 tsp sugar

1 tablspn skim milk powder

half teaspoon salt

1 tablespn olive oil

200mls water

(plus about half a cup of chopped oregano and basil for topping)

Use your 'dough' setting in the breadmaker.

remove dough from bmkaker

Line tray with GladBake/grease it

preheat oven to 180c

with some extra flour, knead the doung 'til it's elastic and springs back when pressed. Shape to fit your tray and leave (covered with lightly damp clean tea towel) for about 30mins to rise.

bursh the top of the dough with olive oil, add your herbs (and any other toppings you like) and bake until golden brown, or around 30mins

Hi,

Well i made my foccacia yesterday and it was yummy. The kids all loved it and are already begging me to make it again.

RUTHC:: I tried yours but i needed to add another cup of flour as it was really runny so in the end i used bits from each receipe.

But yep turned out great

Thanks
