So nice to hear about a mans POV on here!
Thank you to the fathers above for your input and Congratulations to you all for having such gorgeous kidlets. Your stories gave me the warm and fuzzies
Happy Fathers Day to ALL the dads
I am SO PROUD of my DH .... he's a terrific father and a brilliant husband, and it's really great to see him on here!! He doesn't tend to say too much, so it was a bit out of his comfort zone to do this ...
But can I brag for a second?
My DH leaves home early each morning so that he can return in time for me to begin work at 5:00 Mon - Thurs. He comes home and takes over with the kids; feeds (I prepare dinner), baths, entertains and puts to bed. I also study part-time, so he's more than happy to either disappear with the kids on the weekends for a few hours, or keep them otherwise occupied while I hit the books.
All of this, and never a word of complaint.
As a husband, he's kind, considerate (mostly) and very loving. The only problem I have with him is his memory - but he remembers the important things.
I read some of the horror DH stories on EB and really do realise just how lucky I am. Mind you, it was a bumpy road to find DH, but now that I have him, you can bet I'm keeping him!!
Brag over - back to work!!

I really loved reading these stories, thank you guys so much for sharing.
Too often here we dont get a glimpse of how parenting is for the fathers. I shared your stories with my DH too and there were lots of bits that had him nodding in agreement. I think he wants to be a SAHD now too
Thank you again and HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!

Thanks for sharing your stories... Its always nice to see the mans point of view, as opposed to us ladies opinions all the time!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL DADDIES OUT THERE!!!!

Was great to see the male viewpoint, and from different backgrounds.
I'm forwarding the link to my xh.

This is one of my favourite features of EB.. I love the start of the month and wondering who the special feature member will be..
This months story is excellent (slightly bias I know..LOL)
Well done keep it up
Thanks so much to all of our dads who put up their hands to be involved in September's feature.
It was great to get a father's perspective !
