That is the one well stocked craft room

I feel like I'd be able to effortlessly reach out the window and pass my neighbour that cup of sugar that they need.

Somehow this reminds me of a nursing home - chairs everywhere!

The craft room is jaw-droppingly well organised, and about what I would expect in some institutional setting.

But there's something weird about the windows.

ETA: and I just noticed every bedroom has a bathroom, and every bathroom has a separate toilet ...

Although I do want that craft room I am to lazy to actually do any craft! I do like bits of that house but any houses of this size I would feel like I would need to sing (badly) '...hello? is it me you're looking for...'

I like the louvres and clothes line/hanging racks in the laundry.

The colours are definitely not me. Green ceiling?  Also, the sunken kitchen?  I wonder if it’s a kosher kitchen for separate food prep?  It’s weird having those bucket chairs around. I know it’s not much different to having bar stools but it seems odd somehow.

For nearly $5mil, I think I could find something more to my tastes.

The machine and dryer are small though.

It's an odd place. The wall of embroidery cottons is weird.

Why does no one have anything in the gardens except palms?

I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have a line outside. And then a second floor laundry is so impractical. It’s like they only wash and dry inside.

Check out all the perfumes. How would one decide?

I could force myself to live there. I love the dock.

That’s me. My laundry is upstairs so I’m not lugging washing up and down stairs. I find it very practical.

I use airing racks on our veranda if I want to line dry but the majority of our washing is dried in the dryer - children with what feels like allergies to everything. It was one of the recommendations by our allergist and it has allowed me to be lazy guilt free 😆

It looks like multiple individual people live there and wash separately and dry their clothes separately.

Multiple entertainment areas, it looks institutional.

It definitely has an institutional feel. The downstairs bit with the black chairs is obviously a waiting room.

I have looked at it again and the whole thing looks staged, so although I think bits of it make it seem commercial I think the stages have staged it like that, I get this staging works for some people who are genuinely looking for a place to buy but it always leave me cold so I move on (when we look in normal price ranges for when we really are looking to buy) to the next property

added - also there is no mentioned of council approval for commercial mentioned in the ad and that would be a big selling point and I am feeling very sherlock holmes today

But I will happily look at EB properties and pick bits I like!

There's an elevator, no need to lug washing baskets up and down stairs.

I want the craft room, the laundry, that lovely under-window bookshelf, the pool, the main kitchen, the staircase and maybe the lift.
Not sold on the sunken bar/kitchen, nor on the miles of tiles, and would def need a  cleaner for that many toilets.

I think it was built by somebody with older/adult children -- hence the all-ensuited bedrooms. It's in a gorgeous spot and could be a lovely house if it was redecorated in a much lighter, more coastal pallette. I think the drying room/laundry is spectacular though! My arthritis likes the lift as well.

The whole house is not very inviting. And where is all the yarn? I’m down with the laundry though but I already have those b&w tiles, nothankyouverymuch.

I was thinking maybe it's set up as a BNB or private hotel? Just the bar area is weird, and the bedrooms all with bathrooms ... and that huge laundry! A TV roon, an audio room AND a theatre?

And yes the decor is NMS at all - too much black.

Brothel? Some weird religious place? With a sewing nanna???
