Period- vitamins and supplements

Just wondering if anyone know of what vitamins and supplements that I could get to make this lighter?

i am over 40 and have had the abulation and my body hated the mirena.

Not a vitamin, but I found Ponstan really helped.  Taken as soon as a period starts.  But check with your GP with it's suitable.  Ibuprofen (nurofen, etc) also helped slow it down.

My GP told me to try taking ibuprofen just before it starts if possible (I’m on the OCP so usually can do it), and take it regularly for 2-3 days. It does seem to help. I take magnesium for pms and cramps daily. Mirena was a disaster for me as well.

My GP also recommended Ibuprofen or Naprogesic.  Basically, some type of anti-inflammatory to reduce the flow.

I find magnesium helps with cramps but nothing for flow. I mostly just stick to the good old neurofen and also take iron during the week i have it and for a week afterwards. I find having low iron makes my flow heavier. No idea why.
