Edited to update with request.

My big kid has a project that requires a survey to be sent out. It’s an anonymous survey via Google forms.  Its about gender, parenting and social issues.

Please PM me or post in this thread if you are interested in completing it.

Thanks  :)

I don't have the answer for you, but would be happy to do it, if we're relevant.  Two 28  year olds, and two nearly 70 if it's age specific.

Can I be cheeky and ask for recommendations of EBers who may enjoy this survey? :ninja:  I don't want to annoy them by tagging them but I'd be really interested in getting them to do the survey :D

I'm thinking Badcat should be on the list :ninja:

I hope my response was helpful. I felt a bit like my answers didn't paint my parents in the best light, I felt like I wrote "I was born to Boomers.. one was an immigrant in the 50s BUT..." A lot..

My parents were born in the later part of the 1940's and I came in the later part of the 80s.

I learned a lot outside of their ideas actually in my tertiary education and I'm angrier at John and Jeff for withholding the truth about the history of this country from us than I am at my parents.

Its actually quite interesting to think about how many issues I feel strongly about and then realise how much my parents did or didn't discuss them with me. I think I talk to my children about a lot of things more than my parents did. Then again, maybe I just forgot that they did?

I don't know about your parents, especially what they discussed within the home. I remember mine even in the 90s after they went to vote and asking them who they voted for and being told basically it was a secret that you did not discuss with others.

I know today people are more vocal about their political views and maybe my parents were behind in their way of thinking. I don't remember really any discussions about anything particularly meaningful outside of what had an impact directly on our own situation.
