Fluffy! Favourite way to tie a scarf..

What is your favourite?
I find myself stuck on one way, don’t know what it is called, but I use a wide one, hold both ends in front, crisscross and tie in a knot behind my neck. Every other way I’ve tried it falls off and gets annoying, admittedly I am one of those people that always looks like a hot mess.

Fold in half, drape around my neck then tuck the ends back through the looped end and tighten.

Depends on the scarf type but my default is to loop and pull through with bigger/thicker scarves.

Yep, I do this, it's the Melburnian way! Always looks nice and no ends slipping off shoulders.

Depends on the scarf, the lighter ones I just do the neck wrap with the hanging loop but winter scarves I do the pull through method.

I have 45 scarves......just saying.

You live in Melbourne though. I think I have maybe 20?

Oh yes! I know that way. I do that for the bulky thick ones.

A lot of mine are more like pashminas. Mum seems to buy them for me.

I have been collecting for years, it could be called scarf hoarding by some ( DH). When we moved house a year ago I put about 20 into a bag for Salvos but since my time here in my new house I have replenished.

It hasn't helped that my daughter has been commissioned to design some and I have felt compelled to buy one of each. :)

I do the loop through.
I have an abundance of scarves, thick, thin, bulky, pashminas, long, summer, square, colours, print, plain, beaded and on and on.

Ahhh, my time as a melburnian rubbed off then, as that's how I wear them.  If it's a really light,  barely there scarf which is nothing more than an accessory, or if it's really cold and I need it up to my chin for warmth,  I'll just wrap it around my neck to either drape or be snug.

I miss wearing scarves all the time...
