Kamala Harris.  Good choice.

Now if they can just elect Biden and have him retire within the year...

I can imagine how that would go down.

You need to keep faith with the voters, particularly the GOP deserters.

KH is not popular in certain demographics.

But why is she not running herself?

Because she wouldn't win.

She tried - but ran out of money and support.

I really don't think the US is ready for a black woman as President.  I don't even think Australia is ready for another woman as PM.  We are not as evolved as we would like to think.

This is my dream ....  Even if the world may not be ready for a strong, intelligent, articulate black woman to be President, it would be wonderful to see what she could do in that role.

Not ready for a woman, no matter the colour of her skin.

Cottage schmottage!  Seriously though, what a crock.  They need to get rid of her.

I don't know if the Biden / Harris ticket is enough to get Americans off the couch to get out and vote.  There seems to be an overwhelming narrative that it's in the bag and I think the mix of complacency, disinterest and corona virus plus a little bit of Republican interference with the easy access to polling booths could easily see Trump in with a shot.  And we all now that the slightest doubt means a trip to the Supreme court which is stacked with judges who owe him.

I agree.  It really comes down to dislike of Trump, and whether that is a big enough impetus to get them off the couch.  Unfortunately I'm not sure it is.
I despair for them.  And blame them in equal measure.

A problem is that they both need to get people out to vote and convince some who voted for Trump that he's a huge f-up.

This centrist ticket may work for the latter, less so for the former, although Harris as VP ticks some boxes. You've got to hope that the DNC has its eye on the ball more in swing states than in 2016.

And they need to focus on securing the electoral college votes. Targetted voting strategy, rather than a generic get-as-many-votes-as-possible strategy.

That’s what I was implying. 70k votes in three states got Trump over the line in 2016 - the DNC needs to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

I thought this was an interesting take on Biden-Harris.
