Hi guys - thank you so much for all the support, it has really helped.

I finally got some answers today, although not what I was hoping for. For the past 2 weeks I have pretty much known it is all over. Had a final scan today that showed no growth in the past 2 weeks, embryo has disappeared and it looks like the gestational sac is degenerating.

Booked in for a D&C tomorrow.

Initially I was absolutely devastated. It sounds awful, but it wasnt so much devastated or this pregnancy in particular, it was more because I am now in the recurrent miscarriage category, having had three in a row at around 6 weeks. It leaves me wondering whether I will ever get my happy ending.

I went to see a fertility specialist who will be doing karyotyping on this pregnancy and also some other tests to see if we can figure out what is going on. Seeing her made me feel a lot better - like I was more in control and hopefully I will get a better result next time.

Thanks again to everyone for all the support - I have appreciated it more than you know xxx

I'm so sorry to hear greyhoundlover. Massive hugs.

If it helps in any way, I had 3 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy, everything came back normal and in some ways bring categorised as having recurrent miscarriages was a relief as it meant I'd get some help from a Dr who actually knew what they were talking about. I was prescribed progesterone pessaries to start as soon as I got my next bfp and the plan was to do several tracked cycles to see what my hormones where doing, but I was already pregnant and started the pessaries the next week. While my hormones were low in early pregnancy, I'm now 34 weeks with our rainbow baby.

The ttc roller-coaster is horrible for so many people. I hope your ride on it ends soon with a healthy baby. Good luck and much love ♥️♥️
