Maxi guard pro or maxi guard?

Recommended Posts

HippyDippyBaloney

Ok, so my car was stolen and along with it my car seats.

I have two children still in seats (2yrs and 4yrs). My 4 yr old was in a maxi guard pro and I really loved it. She was super comfortable in it and it fit my car well. I was about to change my (very large) 2 yr old from his Kompressor to a Maxi Guard Pro as it was starting to cause arguments with his sister, he wanted to sit in her seat all the time.

Now, I have to replace 2 car seats and I am a single parent - defs don’t have a whole lot of money. I could buy 2x maxi guard pro for $435 each right now. Or should I get 2x maxi guards for $100 each cheaper?

If it’s really worth the extra for 2x pros I will do it. I just don’t know much about the technicalities. Help?!

Sorry that you car was stolen, that sucks.

Do you have comprehensive insurance? Most insurers will cover up to $500 per seat.

If not then I would get you kids to sit in both at the shop to see how they feel, I am of the opinion that that the maxi guard would be fine. Ithink the safety features are the same but fabrics etc are different.

I have the Pro and I bought it for the bamboo fabric. I live in a hot and humid climate so wanted something more breathable. When I bought it, 6 months ago, the maxi guard wasn't in bamboo. If it had been, I'd have gone with that.
