HI

I have had 4 very good pregnancies. Apart from horrible morning sickness with my girl pregnancies. (1st and 4th)

Births all pretty straight forward.

1st induced at 10 days over. Had epidural.

2nd 8 hour labour, pushed for 2 hours. Gas only

3rd 3 hour labour, almost had him out the front of the hospital. very quick. No gas or drugs, no time!

4th , labour started very early in the morning, stayed at home until around 10:00 am. Was in fulll labour by 11:00am and had her at 2:30pm. Just had gas.

Curently ttc #5:)

My 5th labour was by far my easiest. Currently pregnant with no 9

You might not want to know. Planned homebirth. Felt mild cramping around midnight. Couldn't sleep. Thought it was probably starting. Decided to have bath while DH made up bed. While in bath went from mild cramping to great discomfort. Stood up in bath and told DH baby was coming. Midwife was on way but not even close. Baby born. Around 20 mins from actual pain. I think I was transitioning in the bath. So in a nutshell-very fast!

Frank Breech baby born naturally a few hours after going into labour. A beautiful birth, and very straightforward. Would do it again in a heartbeat :)

5th was my worst. Malpresentation. Attempted to turn him and ended up having an emergency c/s. My first 4 were vaginal deliveries.

Induced at 7am, in labour 7.30 am and delivered at 6.30pm.

I did not enjoy it even though it was 'normally progressing'.

I though by #5 I could do it in a lot less than 11 hours.

My 5th was quite easy. I had night contractions during the night which stopped around 7am. Went to hospital No they were contemplating sending me home bit one midwife said no because she thought I'd either have a home birth or deliver in the car. 2 hours later with them telling me I wasn't in active labour, I had our daughter. My Dr even told the midwife I was about to start pushing but she didn't believe him. We showed her. Similar thing happened with our 6th!

My first 4 were vaginal, my 4th being a waterbirth.

I had planned for my 5th to be a waterbirth. He was an emergency section under general at 34 weeks with no labour.

Probably the worst to be honest.

DD1- induced at 42 weeks, episiotomy, vaginal birth.

DD2&3 (twins) - spontaneous at 37 weeks, 1.5 hour vaginal birth.

DD4 - induced after waters broke at 40 weeks, then nothing happening. Vaginal birth.

DD5 - Loss of her twin early on, then spontaneous labour at 41 weeks. After 2 hours in labour had emergency Caesar after she went into respitory distress.

You just never can tell. Thought number 5 would be our easiest, but she had us worried.
