Treatment Name Ideas

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have a Cert IV in Massage Therapy. I have my room at home set up and now am ready to sit down and work out treatments and prices, as well as business cards etc.

I will be offering seated massage, relaxation massages, aromatherapy massages. I am still deciding whether to offer pregnancy massage. In the future I can offer more services ie indian head, hot stone, hawaiian I would even like to become a baby massage instructor once I complete the training.

In regards to names, I don't really want to do the norm and just say Relaxation Massage $xxx, Seated Massage $xxx. To me that just sounds a bit to boring and want to make it sound enticing.

What names can I use and what packages could I offer?

Thanks for your help

What are you looking to do? Make it more like a spa service or looking to do further training for remedial/sports/myo in the future?

Relaxation, aromatherapy and swedish all tend to go under the one umbrella, as does hot stone and Hawaiian.

Seated is usually offered for corporate/travel/kiosk work, not necessarily something you would often use in a clinic set up.

I wouldn't over complicate it. You could make 2 tiers (or however you want to set it up) of prices which will incorporate the different treatment types.

Keep in mind if you are also looking at having a more spa type setting, you may be able to look at the various retail products on the market that may already have massage and body treatments associated with them.

The only problem with having a more enticing name is that you will still have to write underneath it what exactly it is.How about having standard names then for your packages have more enticing ie The Embrace package - endulge in 60min of total pampering including blah blah and blah blah

eta because I can't type correctly!
