Best vet north side

Recommended Posts

whimzy

Hello there,

We've adopted a shelter kitten who is due for vaccinations/worming etc. Does anyone have any recommendations a vet who is located on the North side, caring, thorough and yet affordable?

I've googled but reviews are at least a couple of years old.

Thnks!!

We use Gungahlin Vet Clinic and have found them really good.

I've heard that Jan Spate (? Not 100% sure of surname, sorry!) in Hall is fabulous.

My sister in law would not recommend the big vet centre at Kippax.

Hall vets are great. (Not Jan Spate, I recently read she had been deregistered)

Belconnen Vet Hospital at Weetangera is my regular vet and they are good.

I use the Kippax Vet Hospital. They've always been brilliant with all my pets.

We've used both Inner North Vet Hospital, and Canberra Vet Hospital. Both pretty good but I've personally preferred the inner north one - great bedside manner with both pets and us, and they seem to have a low intervention approach which suits me. No routine blood tests just because, for example, which helps keep things affordable.

We go to Small Friends Vet in Amaroo. They are fantastic. By far the best vets we have ever had.

Inner North, low intervention as mentioned but great when we had an emergency.
