Hi everyone need some ideas, I don't know whether I'm having a girl or boy and love the surprise but although we have come up with names we cant decide on middle names! If its a boy we want Rui (my mum is Portuguese) and if a girl Dulcie.

Some combinations (any others gratefully received)

Dulcie Eva

Dulcie Soraia

Dulcie Orla

Rui Sebastian

Rui Sol

Rui Flynn

Imaginary friend

How do you pronounce Rui?

Dulcie is a bit old fashioned for me - but of the combo's I think Dulcie Eva goes the best.

Dulcie is very old fashioned so I struggle to choose one at all sorry, not a fan.

Boys I'd say Rui Sebastian

I quite like Dulcie - wouldn't be surprised of it was set for a resurgence - but I don't think any of your middles really flow.

How about:

Dulcie Evelyn

Dulcie Joy

Dulcie Maeve

And for boys, I like Rui Sebastian.

Dulcie Soraia for a girl. Definitely! Gorgeous! The flow isn't quite right with the other options.

For a boy all three options work. Maybe one works better with the surname? I'll pick Rui Sebastian.

Dulcie Soraia and Rui Sebastian.

IMO none of the others work.

I LOVE Dulcie! Great name.

Ooh I'm so excited now! 31weeks pregnant but my son was 6 weeks early so will probably be meeting baby sooner rather than later! We do have a long 3 syllable surname do although Sebastian is my fave boy middle name, hubby would prefer a shorter middle name. We'll see what suits little one when he/she arrives I guess! We do love Dulcie but have ruled out orla as a middle name now. Hubby likes Eva and I like Soraia. Maybe we should ask our son.... Hes 20 months... Maybe not lol!
