what can't you live without?

I couldn't live without a dishwasher and my washing horse, so I can hang out washing at any time of day or night. :)

What can't you live without in your large family?

I can always keep on top of washing clothes it's the folding and putting away that I can never seem to keep on top of for more than a week.

My Dyson stick vacuum. Being able to pick up the vacuum and clean in 5 seconds is a lifesaver. Also my dryer. Had kids vomiting on and off over the last week. They would have no bedding if it wasn't for the dryer!

The dishwasher and washing machine are the only slaves I have and I like them a great deal, but I cant live without...cheese.

ETA- sorry, didn't notice what section this was in. I stand by not being able to live without cheese though, no matter how many kids I end up having...

Also ice break I don't have it everyday but wish I did.

I have been looking at getting a stick vac but think I would never touch my normal vac again.

I am truely grateful for our appliances. I couldn't imagine having a large family and having to hand wash clothes. We live in such a lucky generation.

I don't mind if mums without a herd of kids comment :) we also have necessities in life. :)

1. Washing machine - it only has to break down once for this white good to reveal its true value.

2. Multiple living areas/spaces to retreat into - when you have a house full of people it is good to have designated zones.

3. My job - this may not be the reason for everyone but I need it. I need it to give me perspective. I need to it make me leave the house - I can spend days inside and not be sent spare. I need it to socialise/be independent self.

4. Routine - how I love you during the school terms. School holidays the wheels fall off and everyone reboots.

5. Internet/online shopping

Mine is all about the cars. A car each for DH and I as I work full time. I've also rented a car parking space near work so I can arrive late (and have a spot) and duck out quickly.

Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer (sorry)

Extra fridge and freezer

Space for groceries

Eta - my stick vacuum!

Pine O Clean disinfectant wipes.

These! I need these.

I also rely VERY heavily on my dishwasher and washing machine. During periods of illness my clothes dryer is also a life saver.

Living in the north has meant that our A/C is somewhat of a lifesaver, especially while pregnant over summer.

Disclaimer: NOT a large family, came in from New Posts.

My big 12 seater mini bus - we'd never get anywhere without it.

Our holidays - Time to enjoy as a family that doesn't involve us spending the whole time cleaning, cooking, working etc.

The local footy oval - were I take my kids to run laps when they are bouncing of the walls, fighting with each other, complaining of boredom or otherwise being annoying and tire them out.

My DH - I'd be stuffed trying to do everything on my own, just wouldn't happen.

My job - this may not be the reason for everyone but I need it. I need it to give me perspective. I need to it make me leave the house - I can spend days inside and not be sent spare. I need it to socialise/be independent self.

That too.

Aha I was just coming in to say wine too.

Plenty of washing baskets and my washing machine, things go south very quickly when that isn't working.

More than one TV.
