Recall issued for baby ball

A recall notice has been issued for a baby toy sold nationally, due to concerns it poses a choking hazard to young children.

According to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the rubber knobs and plastic back on the Toys 'R' Us Bruin Wiggle Ball, which is also known as a Giggle Ball, can detach from from the toy, creating small parts dangerous to children under three years of age.

Affected toys bear the identifying number: SKN 127668

They were sold online and in-store by Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us, between July 2016 and February 2017.

Consumers are advised to return balls to a Toys "R" Us or Babies "R" Us store for a full refund.
