Kmart issues recall for popular wooden train

Kmart Australia has issued a recall notice for a popular wooden train, which has been sold in stores nationwide.

According to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), screws from the roof of the train may become loose and fall out when dropped, posing a choking and/or ingestion hazard to young children.

The product fails to comply with mandatory safety standard for toys for children up to, and including, three years of ago.

Affected trains bear the following identifying features:

APN Number: 9341104215565

Keycode: 4212144

They were sold in Kmart stores from 16 January 2017 - 10 April 2017

Customers are being asked to stop using the product immediately and to return trains to any Kmart for a full refund.
