IKEA has posted a recall for its MATVRÅ blue and red bibs, which come in a pack of two, after finding the press studs could come loose, posing a choking hazard to babies and toddlers.

The company stated that it has received 'two reports of the button on the bibs coming loose'.

The Swedish furniture store also stated on its Facebook page that: "All our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. In spite of this we have received reports that the press stud on the MATVRÅ bibs can come off and thus presents a choking hazard."

It then offers details for return.

"IKEA urges all customers to return the product to IKEA for a full refund or a similar product. A proof of purchase (receipt) is not required."
