A small boy in the US has struck up a quacking good friendship with an unlikely companion ... his pet duck.
Tyler Young, from Texas, was 9 months old when his parents brought a duckling home.
Instantly, Beaker the duck, or Bee for short, became Tyler's best friend.
The pair play together, eat together, and even get up to mischief together.
They are so close that Tyler's first word was "duck".
The family has 11 ducks and Tyler's parents noticed Beaker on a trip out to buy duck food, Tyler's mother, Jennifer, told Metro.
"From that day forward he hasn't left Tyler's side. If he cries, Bee quacks and runs to him.

"It's no different than a dog, really. Bee sleeps inside and wears a diaper during the day, but that's the only difference.
"Bee steals snacks when Tyler isn't looking, they play outside together, go to the park together, enjoy wagon rides together, and Bee is always supervising bath time," she added.
"I never pictured myself having a pet duck that lives inside. But it's amazing to see these two in action."
The cute pair's antics are documented in a Facebook Page Mr T and Bee which has amassed more than 13,000 fans.
