Expecting a baby can be a magical time in life, however one woman is concerned her friend is taking the magic too far; after she revealed she's planning on naming her twin boys after Harry Potter characters.
Posting to Reddit, the woman said 'Nicola' had been trying to fall pregnant for a while, and while she's thrilled that she's expecting - she's not so thrilled about the baby names her friend has selected.
Unfortunately, Nicola could tell.
"[Nicola] wanted to keep the baby names a secret as everyone knows the sex of the babies and she's having a scheduled c section, so she wanted some element of surprise," the friend wrote.
"She's also a massive Harry Potter fan and had hinted about there possibly being a link, so I expected a Harry Potter name in there somewhere," she continued, saying she got "too excited" to keep it a secret.
"[She] rang to me to ask me if I wanted to know the names they have chosen," the woman said. "It went something like this...
Me: ooh yes please, I would love to know!
Nicola: Albus Tony and Severus Callum
Me: (long pause) wow!
Nicola: (fuming) thanks for that, I can tell you hate them. Thanks, so much for ruining this moment for me! (Hangs up)"
"Albus and Severus are obviously from HP," she explained. "Tony is after her dad and Callum is a family member from her OH side I think."

Admitting she "feels awful" because she paused for so long, she said she's tried calling and texting Nicola to apologise, but she keeps ignoring her.
"I feel really awful," she said, saying she feels like an a—hole because she 'didn't control her reaction and ruined the moment'.
"My other half says I'm not the a--hole because they are stupid names," she continued, before asking the Reddit community what they thought.
Users overwhelmingly agreed that they weren't the best baby names Nicola could have chosen.
"The names are f---ing s--, they're literally going to get bullied their entire lives," one user replied. "Imagine meeting someone and they're like, "Hey I'm SEVERUS CALLUM" or maybe "Hey guys I just transferred here, my name is ALBUS TONY" What is she thinking?"
"Readers made fun of those names when they were given to a literal child IN Harry Potter," one user pointed out. "What's Nicola thinking will happen in the real world?"
Other users pointed out she's obviously feeling insecure about the names, which is why she overreacted,
"She KNOWS it's dumb," one Redditer responded. "That's why she was so insecure about it, now she has to face the fact that it is really dumb."
