Fame in a name? The monikers destined for success

There are many factors parents-to-be consider when choosing a baby name - family traditions, the desire to honour loved ones, or just simply the fact they like how a name sounds.

However, if you think your baby is destined to be a star, you might want to consider these options.

The team at Flower Card studied the names of 20,0000 famous people in film, television and music to determine which names are shared by the most A, and maybe some B, listers.

Here's what they found:

If you're hoping to raise an Academy Award winning daughter, why not consider Kate.

Other names linked to acting success include: Robert, Michael, Elizabeth and Anne.

If you have your heart set on raising a future Grammy winner, John also comes out on top. James, Jessica and Alicia should also be on your lists.

Apparently Richard, Tom, Chris, Steve, Patricia, Julie, Lauren and Sue are also good bets if you want to see your baby's name up in lights one day.

Or are you desperate for a standout name that's still on the rise to stardom? One of these might be your best bet, as they appeared only once in the survey of famous names - possibly for good reason.
