Pre-natal massage

Celebrating your baby doesn’t have to mean a huge gathering, catering for a cast of thousands or playing guess the baby poo game. Here are five ways to celebrate your baby without throwing a ‘shower’ and still feel special and spoilt.

Day spa

With all the pre-natal treatments you can get, there is no need to miss out on being pampered.

A great idea would be to either find a mobile pampering service to come to your home or a friend’s home if they would like to host – a great way to relax and unwind before baby arrives.

You could also make a day of it and go to your favourite day spa and book in for treatments and have lunch at the venue as well.

Make the most of being spoilt.

Lunch

Choose your favourite restaurant or venue and enjoy a relaxing lunch out with family and friends with no fuss or cleaning up.

Most restaurants will let you bring your own cake and decorations if you want to get into the party theme, but most important, you get to celebrate in style and be waited on!

Weekend away

Nothing says relax better than a weekend away. And, it doesn’t have to be with a group of friends or family. Why not take a weekend away with your partner to enjoy the time together without the pitter patter of little feet.

Get romantic and escape and spoil yourselves before the arrival of your baby.

4-D ultrasound - a great gift

Most mums are curious to see what their baby looks like before it is born and seeing baby in 4-D is an experience they will cherish for rest of their lives.

Most venues will offer a viewing for up to 6 family & friends, no doctor’s referral and it is in a relaxed environment.

It is not only a great gift idea as you can all put in as a gift, but it is an unforgettable experience for everyone to enjoy, especially the mum to be.

A picture says a thousand words

Friends of mine organized a photographer to photograph mum to be with her close friends and family at her favourite beach.

It was a special time for everyone to be together and the mum to be got to feel like a star.

She chose a photo package which included lots of gorgeous shots of her belly and it made the perfect gift from her friends and family.
