They say inspiration is all around us, and that's definitely the case when it comes to naming babies.

With people drawing ideas from nature, flowers and even space, there are plenty of unique and interesting avenues to explore when searching for the perfect name.

Some people like to look a little closer to home, opting for family names or something significant in their own lives - and it turns out there's some celebrity parents that are big fans of this idea.

Have a look at celebrity parents that have drawn inspiration from, well, themselves when naming their children.

Usain Bolt

He's the fastest man on earth, having won eight Olympic gold medals so it's no wonder Usain Bolt and his girlfriend Kasi Bennett took a little inspiration from his athletic success when naming their daughter, Olympia Lightning Bolt.

It's a lovely homage his amazing athletic career, and also an insanely cool name- how could you reist adding ;'Lightning' to a name if your surname is Bolt?

Although some fans thought the name of Courteney Cox and David Arquette's daughter 'Coco' was after Coco Chanel, it's actually a combination of Courteney Cox's first and last name, taking the first two letters from each.

Seeing as her surbame is Arquette we think it's a sweet way to incoperate both her parents names!

Will and Jada Smith

It's not hard to follow where this Hollywood couple found inspiration for their children's names!

The couple  named their son, Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, 22 after Jada and their daughter Willow Camille Reign Smith, who turns 20 this year after Will. Will also has another son from his first marraige to Sheree Zampino who is called Willard Carroll "Trey" Smith III, althoguh hey goes by Trey Smith.

The singer ad rapper married at the end of 2017 and welcomed their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus into the world in July 2018.

Their daughters middle name 'Kiari' comes from her father's real name, Kiara Cephus, but her first name 'Kulture' has possibly being ispired by her father too, with rumours circulating that they named her after Offset's 2018 album, 'Culture II'.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons

The actors met whilst shooting season 2 of Fargo in 2015,where they played a married couple, getting engaged in real life in 2017.

They welcomed their son, Ennis Howard in 2016, and although the inspiration behind the name is unclear, suggests it could be symbolic of how the pair started dating, as Ennis was the name of a character in season 3 of Fargo.

An adorable namesake if so!

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom

Not necessarily inspiration from themselves, but maybe Katy Perry was inspired by her music when her and fiance Orlando Bloom gave their daughter the adorable moniker Daisy Dove Bloom.  The 'Roar' singer released her lead single single 'Daisies' , from her album 'Smile' in May this year .

Coincidence? We think not!
