  • Pregnant actress Roselyn Sanchez has followed in the footsteps of Demi Moore by showing off her baby bump for a magazine shoot. The actress has been shot cradling her belly for the cover of Puerto Rican publication <i>Imagen</i>, in a picture reminiscent of Moore's iconic <i>Vanity Fair</i>shot in 1991. In a post on Twitter, Sanchez writes:
  • Nia Long on the cover of the November issue of <i>Ebony</i> magazine.
  • Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon released their nude pregnancy photos to <i>OK!</i> magazine.
  • Miranda Kerr disrobed for the 'family' edition of <i>W</i> magazine. The stunning black and white photo was shot by legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
  • <i>Vanity Fair</i>'s August 1991's cover, featuring Annie Liebowitz's photo of a seven-months-pregnant Demi Moore, caused a scandal.
  • Ex-supermodel Cindy Crawford was 7 months pregnant when she posed nude for the June 1999 edition of <i>W</i> magazine.
  • Britney Spears was 25 and pregnant with her second child when she posed in this Lolita-esque covershoot for Q magazine's November 2006 issue.
  • Britney also posed naked for <i>Harper's Bazaar</i> during her 2006 pregnancy. When the photo on the left was leaked before the magazine went to print, the photo on the right was used.
  • Actress Lisa Rinna pushed the envelope with her saucy pregnant shoot for <i>Playboy</i>'s September 1998 issue.

  • Model Claudia Schiffer bared all for the cover of the June 2010 issue of German <i>Vogue</i> in her native Germany whilst carrying her third child. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld , the shot attracted criticism for being too similar to Demi Moor's iconic <i>Vanity Fair</i> cover.
  • <i>Precious</i> actress Paula Patton went for ethereal bridal glamour in her pregnancy photoshoot for the May 2010 issue of <i>Ebony</i> magazine.

Since Demi Moore posed nude and pregnant for Vanity Fair almost 20 years ago, it has become de riguer for expectant celebrities to show off their bumps  - and more - on the cover of a magazine.

Miranda Kerr is the latest to disrobe, the Victoria's Secret model posing nude for photographer Patrick Demarchelier in the W magazine family issue.

Now approximately seven months pregnant to actor Orlando Bloom, Kerr is expecting her first baby in January 2011.
