If there's one way to make a baby names thread popular it's setting simple, clear instructions.
In a post on Mumsnet, someone has asked for a baby name suggestion - yes, just the one from each person - and it has to be 'the coolest boy's name ever'.
They write, "Just the one please and something that would work for a grown up man too."
With the thread currently topping 200 responses, it's a request that has sparked people into action. What people think is a cool name however, varies significantly, but a few themes can be drawn from the responses.
Names that are unusual, contain the letters Z, X and V, and have an overtly masculine feel dominated by hard consonants rather than vowels, are de rigueur when it comes to the cool stakes.
"Zephaniah with Zeph for short", offers up one commenter.
"Maverick. There's one in my DS' karate class", writes another.
"Maybe I've led a sheltered life but from secondary school to finishing uni I never met an Alex who wasn't fit and in a band".
Then there's this.
"Well my dad goes to school with a boy called Ice. You can't get much cooler than that", to which another responds, "The coolest thing is your dad being focused on his education still."
Here are the best of the rest, so if you're looking for 'the coolest boy's name ever', this is the list for you.
