William is on top but where is Kate?
William still reigns supreme, but Isabella's 2010 crown has fallen to Ruby in the tally of the state's most popular baby names for 2011.
The annual list released by the NSW Attorney-General's office shows all of last year's 10 most popular boy's names have again featured this year, albeit mostly in a different order.
Second-place Jack slipped to sixth. In its stead is Lachlan, up from fifth place a year ago. William has been the state's first choice for the past three years, off the back of its hold on the second top spot for 2008 and 2007, and the third placing in 2006 and 2005.
Lucas made the biggest jump up the top 10 placings. Scraping into the final spot last year, the name finished 2011 in third place.
Among the girls, newcomers Ava and Sophie knocked out 2010's Lily and Ella.
Isabella, the overall favourite of 2010 and 2009 (and 2007) has surrendered the top spot to Ruby, which appeared only once in the past decade - as number four last year. Chloe (second) and Olivia (third) simply swapped spots from their 2010 positions.
Olivia still did better than Oliver, though not by much, with the two taking out third and fifth place on the girls and boys lists respectively.
