New York University Bookstore has come under fire for selling a onesie bearing the slogan "I hate my thighs" for baby girls. The outfit was created by baby apparel range Wry Baby, which wrote on its website that it is "a tiny statement regarding self-image". Following a social media storm, the NYU store removed the item from its shelves, and Wry Baby said it had been an "ironic joke". It also stopped selling the item, replacing it with a onesie that reads 'Love me for my leg rolls", as decided by a public vote.
