The Baltimore photographer's shots, which document her baby's development with pizza, show her little one growing slice by slice.
And people just can't get enough.
"Dammnit my kids are 3y4mo and 9mo," said one commenter. "I've missed so much potential pizza!"
"I will be doing this when I have a child,*insert tacos*," said another.
Another parent applauded the mum's use of a white onesie. "That is a brave parent, sticking a white onesie on a pizza box."
"I hate it when people say their kid is "12 slices old" another commenter joked. "One. Your kid is one pizza old."
Romper, the mother-of-two explained that the pizza theme was inspired by her little one's Grammy who said she had to do "something Italian," as an ode to his name. Ms Giannandrea's husband is Italian and the pair settled on the name Lorenzo straight away.
"I had originally just thought about using pizza shaped plates and just doing that in a pizza box every month but then I figured if we were going to do this, we may as well do it right and get dinner out of it once a month. We love our local pizza place, il Forno, in Frederick, so it seemed like a no brainer! Anything to make mommin' easier," she said.
Ms Giannandrea is thrilled the idea has taken off. "I love something happy being populated around the web," she says.
"To everyone who is saying they wish they had come up with this — there are a millions of ideas to be had! Be the first to do something epic and fun too!"
