It's the best f**king news we've heard all day: the smash-hit Not Safe For Kids bedtime book, Go The F*ck To Sleep is getting another cheeky follow up.

After tackling slumber (or lack therefore) and picky eaters with You have to F*cking Eat, author Adam Mansbach has turned his trademark humour and profanity to the exhausting truth of adding to your family with  F*ck, Now There are Two of You.

According to the blurb, the new book, "articulates all the fears and frustrations attendant to the simple, math-defying fact that two is a million more kids than one."

Illustrated by Owen Brozman, it's addressed to a soon-to-be older sibling and features lines such as:

I have wonderful news for you, darling

A little brother or sister is coming - what fun!

As for me my life is pretty much f*cked now,

Because two's a million more kids than one.

While Samuel L. Jackson voiced Go The F*ck To Sleep, (and who could forgot everyone's favourite PlaySchool presenter Noni Hazlehurst's version)  according to Entertainment Weekly, Seinfield's Larry David will step up to the mic for the latest adult picture book.

"As the second-born child, I'm sure my parents experienced feelings similar to those of the narrator in this book," David told EW. "Is it any wonder I'm so f*cked up?"

Mansbach, now a father-of-three, previously spoke about the secret behind his runaway hit - pure, unfiltered, honesty.

"There's a culture of both perfection and dishonesty about things like parenting," he told Smith Magazine. "Part of the reason this book has been received so well is that it's been cathartic to have people admit that it's not good all the time. There's all this preciousness around kids. At the same time, remember that the parents in my book aren't actually cursing at the kids. They're actually being good parents; they're not letting on that they're about to explode."

Adult book not a youth book

Mansbach also shared that the book originated from a good old-fashioned vent on Facebook. Speaking to NPR, the dad recounted that after one particularly brutal night of trying to get his daughter to sleep, he jokingly wrote on his Facebook status: "Look out for my forthcoming children's book, Go the F*ck to Sleep."

The response was immediate "DO IT."

We can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
