Tyra Banks is a successful businesswoman, media personality, author and ex-Victoria’s Secret model, but there’s another role she wants to add to her life: being a mum.
Appearing on The Steve Harvey Show this week, the America’s Next Top Model creator and host spoke about her long-held wish to have children.
“I’m really ready to have some babies. I want babies!” the 38-year-old said.
“I’ve always wanted them, but I’ve been saying ‘I want babies in three years’ since I was, like, 27. And now I’m 28,” she joked. “No, I’m 38, I think it’s time.”
“[My eggs are] going to be hard boiled and fried and scrambled up in there, so it’s time to get those eggs working!”
Last year Banks hinted at trying for a baby with businessman John Utendahl, but the couple split in December. She has since been linked to a few men, including rapper Drake, but is not in a serious relationship.
If she chooses to adopt as a single mum, she’ll be in good company: Charlize Theron, Sandra Bullock, Mary-Louise Parker and Kristin Davis are among the single women in Hollywood who have adopted.
