Tess Holliday welcomes second son

The world's most popular plus-size model Tess Holliday and her Australian fiance have welcomed their first child together.

Holliday gave birth to a son, Bowie Juniper Holliday, on June 6.

"Son Bowie Juniper Holliday weighed 8 pounds, 10oz. (3.9kg), and measured 22 inches (56cm) long," People reported.

The 30-year-old modelalready has a 10-year-old son, Rylee, from a previous relationship.

"When I had my son, I was 20 and I didn't know what I was doing and I didn't have help. I'm really excited to be doing it again and have support, and be able to enjoy having a baby, because I couldn't last time," she said earlier this year.

"It's been 10 years since I had a kid, so there are so many things that are new. My friends that have babies are posting all of these new swings and breastfeeding techniques and new bottles, and it's really overwhelming because I thought, 'I've already done all this,' but it feels like I haven't. I'm having to relearn a lot."

Holliday said her second pregnancy was not planned, but the body-positive model embraced it by appearing in nude photoshoot for London's The Telegraph

"It definitely was not planned and I was a little nervous when I first found out, but I'm excited," she said.

"As I enter my eighth month, my body overall looks the same other than my belly and I'm okay with that. What I've had to be learn to be okay with (WHICH IS NOT COOL) is the fact that people still think it's okay to comment on my body: 'You don't look pregnant', 'You must be have quadruplets', 'You are putting your baby at risk' and a slew of other uneducated statements that are very far from my reality," she posted to her 1.2 million fans on Instagram in April.

Los Angeles-based Holliday, who began her career using the name Tess Munster, is engaged to Australian photographer, artist and self-described feminist Nick Holliday

The couple first interacted on social media.

"I love how you inspire other women," he posted to her Tumblr in 2012. From there the couple chatted online for seven months before Nick travelled to the US to visit. They have been together ever since.
