Amy Schumer has once again struck at the hearts of mums everywhere - exclaiming that she wants her baby to stay little forever.
In an Instagram post, liked by nearly 200,000 people, she shared a gorgeous photo of her holding her toddler Gene Fisher in a pool with the caption: "I don't want this age to end HELP!"
Her followers shared their own experiences being a parent. Some said they thought the same thing at every stage of their child's growth, while others said babies were cute for a reason so you'll have more of them. Others told her to get loads of cuddles and take lots of photos to remember the moments. And many said that it just gets better and better, as they grow older.
Recently, Schumer posted a beautiful image of her chef husband Chris Fisher holding Gene for Father's Day.
"Happy Father's Day Chris. We love you. I'm jealous that you make Gene laugh so much harder than me," she wrote.
The famous comedian, actress and social activist has been very honest about motherhood, from her struggles with hyperemesis gravidarum to juggling work and family.
Shortly after the birth of Gene, she returned to work to do a stand-up gig and was attacked by judgemental trolls.
She hit back with a photo in her post-birth underwear pumping breastmilk with the caption: "Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night!"
And in an interview with Oprah in January she told the media mogul how motherhood has changed her.
"I really have had a beautiful experience having a baby," she said.
"You know, it's different for everybody. But I really have to recommend if you've got the resources to have a baby, have a baby.
"It's been so life-changing for me. And I really like the guy."
She said it's taught her how strong women are when it comes to pregnancy and motherhood.
"We are warriors. All of us. I mean, for real that is what I learned," she said.
"I didn't just learn how strong I was. I really learned, as a whole, how strong women are.
"And you know, men are great, too. And, like, that's awesome and you guys can throw a touchdown. But, like can you make a baby?"
Schumer also talked about how Chris and herself were undergoing invitro fertilisation to try for another child, this time hopefully a girl.
"I had my egg retrieval Monday," she said.
"Which is also the last time I pooped. I said I wasn't gonna say it, but I did. Yeah, can't poop after."
She also shared an image of herself at the IVF clinic to her Instragam.
"We are gonna freeze embryos hopefully," he said.
"I learned to eat salty food after and drink Gatorade. Ice the area. Take arnica and put arnica on the bruises. To be patient and kid to myself and that there are sooooo many of us willing to be there for other.
"Your stories helped me more than you can imagine. I feel incredibly lucky."
