Kensington Palace has just released a series of photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - and the images so gorgeous they're stealing hearts all over the world.

The young royal trio were captured by photographer Matt Porteous, playing in the garden their mother Kate the Duchess of Cambridge co-designed for the Chelsea Flower Show.

Named the 'Back to Nature' garden, it's a concept brought to fruition by the Duchess together with award-winning landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White.

The garden "...is based in a woodland setting as a space for families and communities to come together and connect with nature, states the Royal Horticultural Society's website, which goes into considerable detail about the design.

The children look right at home, dangling bare feet into a pristine stream, gathering sticks and swinging on the tree swing.

It's also the world's first glimpse of 1-year-old Louis walking without assistance, the adorable tot clearly relishing a jaunt down a wooden-planked pathway holding a stick in the air, observed closely by William.

The Duke has the slightly furrowed brow of apprehension that any parent of a just-walking toddler will recognise.

The children also played a role in helping to make the stunning garden.

Kensington Palace stated on Instagram that the three children had helped Kate "...gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate @The_RHS Back to Nature Garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden's den."

In an interview for the BBC, Kate said: "I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children."

She added, "I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together."
