Toddlers. They're divine and sent from some other place than earth, because half the time we can't work out why they do what they do.

Powered by invisible forces independent of reason, they are the pickiest eaters of all and drive parents crazy with their food refusal.

We're looking at you, Luna.

Chrissy Teigen has come up with a rather genius way of  tackling her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter's eating vagaries and we're thinking that toddler parents everywhere will be wanting a piece of the strategy.

The model and popular celebrity mum - who happens to have authored two cookbooks - has posted a video of her flipping through a tailor-made, fully laminated menu complete with photos for her daughter to choose food from, declaring, "I made a restaurant for my 2 and a half year old."

The Instagram story caption reads, "Trying to get Luna to eat by being psychotic," most probably referring to the common realisation that most parents have, that they never in a million years thought they'd be doing something like this just to get someone to eat.

The menu contains such toddler delights such as cheese quesadillas, crispy fish sticks, ham and cheese 'Lunables' and chicken spaghetti and gives Luna the dictatorial control over her own culinary destiny she both needs and demands at this age.

The menu even has prices which Chrissy says Luna pays with her fake money to inspire her to actually eat what she buys.

Chrissy freely admits this wasn't how she was raised and seems quite astonished that she is resorting to such tactics now she is 'owned' by Luna.

The post has attracted a staggering 4.47 views on Twitter and 1.5 million views on Instagram, with some unappreciative people 'yucking' the food.

Chrissy replied, "YUCKING OTHER PEOPLE'S YUM IS VERY UNBECOMING. ESPECIALLY if you haven't even tried the food you're yucking. I AM HEATED."

Parents of toddlers everywhere be like...
