A right royal pair: Mary's twins pose for official portrait

The  twins born to Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark seven weeks ago have posed for official portraits in the grand surrounds of the Amalienborg Palace.

The boy and girl, whose names won't be revealed until their christening on April 14, appear to have their mothers auburn locks.

The royal pair are fourth and fifth in line to the throne, after their father and older siblings Prince Christian, 5, and Princess Isabella, 3.

Mary has said that she hopes to show off the twins to family and friends in Australia soon.
