It's hard to know who would have been more surprised by Elf on the Shelf's antics in the Beckham household yesterday morning - nine-year-old Harper or her mother Victoria.
However it's safe to say the whole family would have got a chuckle out of the scenario David Beckham created.
The superstar dad dug into his wife's Spice Girls memorabilia - pulling out a Posh Spice doll and setting her and Elf up to "work from home together" surrounded by pizza and a laptop.
"Really elf?," he captioned the photo, along with #PoshIsBack.
The Beckhams are known for having fun with Elf on the Shelf. Their festive friend arrived in the family home on December 1 wearing a face mask.
Surely there will be some soccer related fun in store for him some time before December 25.
