Long-term EB member Lorraine Daley and her family had their wish granted this week - a wheel-chair friendly car to enable their terminally-ill son Bryce to leave the house and join on family excursions.
Bryce is battling Batten Disease (you can see a video of his journey on YouTube), and Lorraine was originally featured on Channel Ten's The Circle program to receive a much-deserved makeover. After hearing Lorraine’s story, viewers wanting to help, so the Circle teamed up with Children’s Charity VARIETY to make Lorraine’s wish come true.

Batten's disease is always fatal and has no known cure. The Batten Disease Support and Research Association (BDSRA) provides awareness of the disease and helps support families of persons affected.
