Robomaid vacuum cleaner

Remote controlling Robomaid is great.

  • Remote controlling Robomaid is great.
  • The Robomaid clings to the wall.
  • The Robomaid in action.
  • The Robomaid automatically docs to charge.
  • The Robomaid gets around tricky furniture.

I now consider myself to be one of the lucky ones! Why you ask? Because I recently employed a new cleaner to help out with the vacuuming, sweeping and mopping and we call her Daisy!

I speak of course about the new addition to the family, our new Robomaid.

Easy. Clever. Amazing.

Robomaid is the robotic vacuum cleaner that vacuums your home at a touch of a button.

So how does it work? It uses a combination of a turbo-head spinning brush, a side brush to clean dust along the walls, and a suction component to suck all the dust, hair and dirt lifted by the main brush.

With 28 sensors to detect walls and furniture, as well as a shock-absorbing bumper that won’t mark your walls or furniture, the Robomaid effectively cleans for up to an hour covering at least 100 square meters every time.

The Robomaid also has a mopping attachment, stair and ledge detectors and automatically returns to its docking station once complete.

See the Robomaid in action, watch the video!

There’s no need to move furniture for the Robomaid. The Robomaid has an in-built floor-covering algorithm which allows it to work its way around your floors with plenty of overlapping no matter the layout, while the sensors automatically detect furniture, walls and other obstacles. The only thing you have to do is press the Go button!

The fact that it comes with a remote control and you can control it to move and pick up dust or dirt is brilliant – not to mention hours of fun for the men! My husband thinks it’s a remote control car and is obsessed with using the remote control.

He was also in-charge of naming her and I think he meant to call her Sadie the cleaning lady but thought the song said Daisy! Hmmm?

For me – I have a bad back and just sweeping the floor alone can put me in a lot of pain and I also have a one year old baby. So, for me, it really is a lifesaver.

It took me a little bit of time to work out the settings and what it can do, but once you play around and your Robomaid gets use to its area, you will be more than impressed.  I like to move a few things out of its way – I found it a lot easier.

TIP – how Robomaid works best for me

Each morning when I am giving my son breakfast in his high chair (and he cannot chase Daisy or crawl away screaming when it comes near him) I clear a few toys off the floor and hit the auto play button.

I get some time back in my day, time better spent with my baby and not cleaning and bonus - it’s pain free.

I highly recommend Robomaid to any family.

Warning – husbands will take-over!
