Rosie O'Donnell and her wife have welcomed a baby girl.
The TV host and actress reportedly married Michelle Rounds quietly last June. This is their first child.
O'Donnell announced the happy news via Twitter on Wednesday, writing, "we r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota - #withloveandthanks - AMEN," she wrote [sic]. The baby was born on Saturday January 5, 2013.
The television star also released a photo of herself with Rounds and their bundle of joy.
O'Donnell and Rounds met at a Starbucks coffee shop in 2011.
O'Donnell is already a mum to Vivienne, 13, and adopted children Parker, 17, Chelsea, 15, Blake, 13, with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter. The actress married Carpenter in 2007 after several years of being together, but the couple divorced in 2010.
Dakota's birth follows health scares for both of the women: Rounds underwent surgery in June after she was diagnosed with desmoid tumours, according to People magazine (the masses are benign but grow quickly like cancer), while O'Donnell suffered a heart attack in August.
