Needs to be in neutral colours to be versatile with your own wardrobe. It also needs to hold as much as possible without being bulky.

An interior like a tardis - so all the 'kid/baby stuff' is easily and inconspicously accomodated and exterior like the fab-ist (thats a technical term
) designer bag you could imagine - something akin to the Nico Tote by Il Tutto I think!

Definitely something like the Nico Tote, it's a stunning material, versatile colour, cute teddy bear to show its a baby bag but still has a lot of style plus looks like you could easily fit your purse, a nappy, some wipes and a bottle.

If a bag is to be functional it needs to be lightweight before you put anything in it as anything female or baby orientated these days seems to come off as being heavy :/ to be stylish it needs to look good, match any outfit and the pram and not be too bulky
Space to put all the baby items and funky enough for no one to realise its a nappy bag

That is doesn't look like just another nappy bag but that it's fully functional as one and can be used for other thongs once it's no longer used as a nappy bag.

I think the design is the most important part- you want it to look more like a handbag than an overnight bag, so secret pockets, bits that can be folded easily, etc make for a more compact, handbag like design.
