The unit is powered by odour eliminating baking soda! I would love to win one so that I can stop walking around the house having to hold my nose so I can't smell the stinky nappies! There is nothing worse than when hubby 'forgets' to put it outside and by the morning the whole house has a bad odour, and it takes days to go away!

The Munchkin Nappy Disposal System is unique in the way it neutralizes odours, I'd LOVE to win one to keep my nursery smelling fresh!!!!

Munchkin nappy disposal system uses the unique natural baking soda which neutralizes the odour. It has no harmful chemicals and so i would love to get one as it is very convenient for my family. I would also recommend it to my freinds who uses the traditional way of napkin disposal. Its some thing new and im eager to try it!!
neatsiemc
Its unique because it neutralises odours using baking soda instead of just masking the smell! Would love one of these to keep my nursery smelling fresh!

I don't want to win one, I just wanted to say that we have one of these in the nursery and it is GREAT! Love every little aspect of this nappy bin! Go MUNCHKIN! (Their bottle cleaners are fantastic too!)
annalisapalmer

Munchkin nappy system uses natural bicarb soda to neutralise and eliminate odors. My dog is obsessed with the smell of nappies - I need to get rid of the odor to stop him knocking the bin over all the time!
Mandy GRAHAM

The Munckin nappy bin doesn't mask odours, it neutralizes them using natural bicarb soda.
I would like to win one to give to my wife so she doesnt complain about the smelly nursery all the time biggrin.gif
Immyxx
This traps those awful nasty smells that cute babies can create. More unique then any normal bin and hygenic! How could I not want one??
jenib
Sorry, but I can't believe in this day and age we can feature articles on sustainable living and then give away such a redundant item as a nappy disposal system. Can't you just toss em in the bin? Until we have compostable waste - wake up to yourselves Councils of Australia - nappies like everything else, just get squished down in an anaerobic pulp in our Council facilities. Why then would you need to store them in your house, baking soda or otherwise?
Linlas
The Munchkin System uses bi-carb, which is awesome, as this is the only cleaning product that I feel safe using around the little ones original.gif
shaggyone
Baking soda certainly does work Miracles, and to come with this Munchkin System its certainly a Must have
Annex
[/size]unlike other claims Munchkin actually gets rid ofodours, i would love to win to pass it to mum to persuade her to buy it

It uses baking soda to netralise odours... must be a US thing though to call it baking soda and not bicarb soda. Does it work with cloth nappies? Not to dispose obviously, just to store and remove smells before washing. Because my daughter has some stinky cloth nappies. I don't use disposable.
~kirsten11~
The Munchkin Nappy Disposal System sounds completely different to other nappy disposal systems on the market. I was using a nappy disposal system but every time you lifted the lid to put a nappy in you got hit with the putrid smell of wet/urine soaked nappies!! sick.gif GROSS!! I'm due with my second bub in a few weeks so this would be a great addition to the added nappy collection!! biggrin.gif
saza_e
Munchkin Nappy Disposal system uses natural baking soda to neutralizes the odour. I would love to try it as I use as few chemicals in my home as possible.
Neat22
No more odour with baking soda! Product eliminates smells, just as well.
Nappies can be overwhelming on air, Munchkin Disposal System keeps it clear.

Natct
I could use a hygene vent on my laundry. I have heaps of bicarb just waiting for a use!!
Barefoot
If I won this baking soda, odour neutralising wonder, DS would have to stop saying, "poo, stinky poo"
julieregan
It neutralizes odours using baking soda. I would love one to make my baby's room smell better
mellow.gif
peta-lee
Nuetralisation of odours with baking soda, winning this would mean no more mt everest of stinky nappies by the back door waiting to be moved to the bin
Mariamsmum
Munchkin's ingenious odour neutralising bicarb nappy disposal system will ensure that my house smells fresh even with double the stinky nappies that my twins produce!

Sweetpea11
There's a unique hygiene vent which eliminates odour with bicarb soda.
The foot pedal bin I use just stores then releases stink bombs upon opening!

The Patented Hygine Vent uses natural Bicarb Soda to neutralise not just mask smells. i would love to win to keep my munchkins room fresh.
Sara-Louise
Munchkin Nappy Disposal System uses natural bicarb soda to neutralize odours - would love one because it's the best disposal system I've seen! rolleyes.gif
sars_angelchik
Its unique because I have never actually seen anything like this before in store, and its got to be better than putting the smelly nappies in the bin- there is nothing worse than that smell. I would love to win as I am expecting my first and I can be a little squeemish with bad odours so this would be a great help!
princesseliza
This system uses natural bicarb soda to neutralise and I appreciate a more natural approach in my kids rooms.
nerry
They can mask the baddest of smells from any nappy and i would love one as it would make things that much easier in my place, with soon to be 3 in nappies to change, a nappy disposal system would mean not trying to juggle a dirty nappy whilst wrangling the kids at the same time original.gif
KristyMum-
seconding jenib.

As for appreciating a 'natural approach' in baby's room...
'natural bicarb soda' in a plastic bin that wraps single use nappies in plastic to go in a plastic bag to go in landfill. but that's right it uses 'natural' bicarb... so it must be good. mellow.gif

I wonder if there's such a thing as a 'sleeper-member' because a lot of posts in here are a poster's first post and very 'promo-y' ... or maybe I'm just cynical.
rachkap
biggrin.gif Can use with one hand, neutralises odour (baking soda), snap/seal bags for disposal and a refill does 250 nappies. That's why I want one! biggrin.gif

I'm pregnant with baby number 1 and have a nose more sensitive to smells than a sniffer dog at n airport, I'm dreading the smell of dirty nappies! I love that it uses bicarbonate soda and not harsh chemicals to eliminate the smells. Using one hand to do it whilst still being able to attend to bubs is genius!!
