PRODUCT RECALL

Vitaco Health Australia is recalling all of its Healtheries Kidscare Rice Wheels Multipack products with a best before date of 04/01/13 or earlier, due to glass being found in a small number of products. While there have been no reports of injury, the company is undertaking a voluntary consumer level product recall. The products affected by this recall are Healtheries Kidscare Rice Wheels – Cheese, Roast Chicken and Burger in the 10 x 18g Multipacks. “We take food safety seriously, and the wellbeing of our consumers is our top priority,” said General Manager of Vitaco Health Australia Ryan d’Almeida.

“As a precautionary measure, we are also recalling Healtheries The Wiggles Ricey Bites with the same best before date as they are made from rice and manufactured on the same production line. There have been no product complaints received in respect to Healtheries The Wiggles products.” Other Healtheries products, including Healtheries Kidscare Potato Stix and Corn Tubes are not affected. “Consumers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund. We apologise to all our customers for this inconvenience.”

Thanks for posting.

I noticed a recall notice at my local supermarket.

You might want to post this in the food allergy section as well, because all the supermarkets I've been to tend to have these products in the health food/gluten free section - so that would help the regular consumers of this product see the recall. original.gif
