I am very upset and I would like some suggestions if someone can help me. Please forgive my English as when I get stressed sometimes I cannot think of the right words.

My ex girlfriend has told me she is pregnant and I want to support her but she is keeping on changing her mind about what to do. She is about 4 months pregnant.

I am worried because although she is an Australian citizen she is also a citizen of another country. I want to know the baby and be involved. Can I stop her going overseas? I have permanent residency here and would stay here too. I think I can make a good contribution to the child.

Also sometimes she acts strangely and she will not let me go to appointments with her or show me anything that says she is pregnant. I have offered nicely to drive her and help in anyway. How can I find out for sure she is pregnant? She says she is 4 months pregnant. Please any suggestions are welcome. I just want to support her in anyway and to know my child. But if she is not pregnant I also want to know.

Wow that's a toughie. As much as you want to be involved, on the face of it, it sounds dodgy mate. Pretty much you are going to have to lay an ultimatum, and take the risk of not being involved if she is pregnant, and it is your child.

Let us know how it resolves out, hope everything is ok for you
